This two-and-a-half-hour journey will take you the historic city of Budapest.
The two separate towns of Buda and Pest were officially united in 1873 which has formed the name of Budapest.
Popular tourist attraction is the Chain Bridge built between 1840 and 1849, making it the oldest bridge in the city. The bridge connects the hilly Buda district with the flat Pest. A cable railway runs up Castle Hill to Buda's Old Town, where you can visit the Budapest History Museum and learn about the life in the city during Roman times. Trinity Square is the site of the 13th-century Matthias Church and the spiers of the Fisherman's Bastion, which offers breathtaking views.
Enjoy the Gellert Hill with its magnificent views and the impressive Ofen Fortress. Once a Habsburg residence, today the Hungarian National Museum with magnificent collections. Afterwards you will experience the famous "Turkish Baths", the Gellert Baths, the Fishermen's Bastion, the Budapest Magnificent Gallery and the well-known Margaret Island.
Do not miss a visit to the fairytale castle Gödöllö, the favorite place of Empress Elisabeth after her coronation as Hungarian Queen in 1867.
